The Cincinnati Bengals missed the postseason in 2023 and ’24.
This wouldn’t be notable hadn’t Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Trey Hendrickson’s team advanced to the Super Bowl in ’21 and AFC Championship game in ’22.
As a result, their 9-8 record last year — which had the club just within the grasp of a Wild Card spot — was a disappointment.
In 2025, Zac Taylor’s team looks to return to its winning ways.
Over the offseason, Cincinnati shored up its roster by signing projected starters T.J. Slaton and Oren Burks.
In the draft, the Bengals snagged defensive end Shemar Stewart and linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr.
Now, all they have to do is produce like it’s 2021 (or ’22).
“Without question, 2025 will feel like Super Bowl or Bust for these Cincinnati Bengals,” Go Long writes. “Never before has the national spotlight shined so brightly on the southwest corner of Ohio.”
In order to make their Super Bowl aspirations a reality, the Bengals will have to come up big in recently announced home games against AFC North rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers (Oct. 16) and Baltimore Ravens (Dec. 14).
Other notable contests going down in Cincy this year include gridiron showdowns with the Detroit Lions (Oct. 5), Chicago Bears (Nov. 2) and New England Patriots (Nov. 23).
