Content creators like Jake Shane and Nara Smith grabbed our attention in 2025 — and are sure to continue doing so in 2026.
News broke in November that Shane is set to star and serve as an executive producer in a comedy show based on his life. The official description for the series notes that the show follows Shane and “his best friends as they navigate the chaotic new world of online fame, the strain it puts on their friendships, and the tension their presence causes in their suburban neighborhood.”
While reflecting on the moment, Shane exclusively told Us Weekly in November 2025 that he “really [didn’t] process it as real.”
“I remember freaking out and kind of just foaming at the mouth to tell people,” he said. “When everyone found out, it was the best feeling. I’m so bad at keeping a secret like that. So I was really excited to tell everyone.”

Jake Shane
Shane has been tight-lipped about his new show, but teased to Us in November 2025 that his team is working on creating something memorable. “We’re putting our heads down and working hard on it,” he said. “We’re going to make it the best possible show we can bring you. And I just want [you] to laugh.”

The lifestyle creator, known as Bran Flakezz online, built a following for years before entering the zeitgeist as a full-time influencer — where he told Rolling Stone his content is “like being on FaceTime with your best friend.”
With his platform, Edelman joked that he’s unleashing “gay chaos” into the world. “Gay chaos is being unapologetically you,” Edelman told the Philadelphia Inquirer in March 2025. “Living life to the fullest without fear of judgment, and celebrating the little things that make you different. And doing it in a chaotic and gay way.”
Haley Kalil
The creator, known as Haley Baylee online, is surely going to be keeping Us on our toes with her hilarious sense of humor in 2026.
