Selena Gomez had more than just love in the air on her wedding day — she had longtime pal Taylor Swift joining her bride tribe in true BFF fashion.
The Only Murders in the Building star, 33, gushed over Swift, 35, showing up for her nuptials to now-husband Benny Blanco, posting a beaming behind-the-scenes moment shared between the friends while celebrating the release of Swift’s 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“In honor of SHOWGIRL .. blessed to have you by my side almost 20 years later gator! I love you @taylorswift forever and always,” she wrote in her Instagram caption on Monday, October 6, alongside a clip of Swift filming her getting ready process as well as a photo of them blowing a kiss at the camera as they enjoyed chilled beverages and showed off their glam. Gomez was glowing with joy as Swift captured content from her phone, showing the “Calm Down” hitmaker in all-white as she prepared to exchange her vows.
For her friend’s big day on September 27, Swift looked stunning in a gold Pre-Spring 2026 Oscar de la Renta gown with a subtle metallic sheen. Swift’s dress featured a sheer overlay adorned with intricate embroidery, a corset-style bodice and floral appliqués.
She opted for a braided hairstyle, winged eyeliner and her signature red lip.
An insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Swift not only made an appearance at the wedding, but was also present at Gomez and Blanco’s rehearsal dinner the night before.
Celebrity hair stylist Renato Campora did a gorgeous curled ‘do on Gomez as one of the final touches for her ceremony before she changed into a structured Ralph Lauren gown.
Another new photo shared by the blushing bride showed the ladies in a sweet embrace under twinkling bright lights, with Gomez rocking a sparkling white dress while Swift wore a black strapless gown that beautifully showcased her engagement ring from Travis Kelce.
It certainly was an unforgettable occasion as “Taylor gave an extremely heartfelt speech at the wedding,” a source exclusively told Us. “She went into depth and talked about how over the years she saw Selena on the floor crying, mentioning exes, Selena having a broken heart and saying how happy she is that Selena has Benny now.”
The insider told Us that Swift sweetly “said it is a best friend’s dream for her best friend to find someone like Benny and is so happy for her.”
As expected, Gomez’s mom, Mandy Teefey, also documented her daughter’s special day with a few social media posts.
One day after the ceremony, she reposted Gomez’s wedding portraits, adding the caption, “Sunday kind of love.”
“What a perfect celebration for the most kickass couple I know! The evening couldn’t have been more beautiful and perfect,” she wrote in a follow-up post. “Absolutely flawless! All my love to my beautiful daughter @selenagomez and to the greatest son-in-law @itsbennyblanco!!! It was a fairytale come true and it was beyond heartwarming watching my father walk her down the aisle!!!”
