Sen. Graham urges Trump to unleash ‘holy hell’ on Iran through military, cyber attacks

News RoomBy News RoomJanuary 13, 20261 ViewsNo Comments

WASHINGTON — Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) called for President Trump to unleash “holy hell” on Iran, including through military and other attacks, as the regime continues its bloody crackdown on protests.

Graham suggested that aggressive measures are needed to fulfill Trump’s threat to come to the aid of the protesters if the theocratic regime started killing people.

“The tipping point of this long journey will be President Trump’s resolve,” Graham posted on X. “No boots on the ground, but unleashing holy hell — as he promised — on the regime that has trampled every red line.”

“A massive wave of military, cyber and psychological attacks is the meat and bones of ‘help is on the way,’” the hawkish senator added. “What am I looking for? Destroy the infrastructure that allows the massacre and slaughter of the Iranian people, and take down the leaders responsible for the killing.”

“The Iranian people’s long nightmare will soon be over. I am so proud of President Trump.”

Graham praised Trump for not acting like former President Barack Obama and called him “Reagan Plus when it comes to protecting America’s vital national security interests,” while stressing, “There is no bigger threat to world order.”

More than 2,000 Iranians have been killed amid the brutal crackdown, the US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency estimated, and an Iranian official reportedly confirmed.
Others have estimated a dramatically higher death toll of between 12,000 to 20,000 people, CBS News reported.

Anti-government protests had swept Iran last month in response to persistent inflation, a plunging currency, rising food costs, and more. They have intensified in the time since, sweeping most major cities across the country.

Trump had warned on Jan. 2 that if the regime violently “kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue.”

On Tuesday, the president declared that “help is on the way” and urged protesters via Truth Social to “TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS.” Graham’s encouragement of Trump to take tougher actions against Iran came in response to that Truth Social post.

“There is no bigger threat to world order than the Iranian ayatollah’s religious Nazi regime that wantonly kills its people, supports international terrorism and has American blood on its hands,” Graham further stressed.

“The death blow to the ayatollah is going to be a combination of the incredible patriotic bravery of the protestors, and decisive action by President Trump. The protestors go to the streets unarmed, risking their lives because they believe President Trump has their backs.”

Trump announced Monday that he will be imposing a 25% tariff on countries that continue to do business with Iran as it continues to massacre protesters, including unarmed civilians.

He also said that he has “cancelled all meetings with Iranian Officials until the senseless killing of protesters STOPS.”

During an interview with CBS Evening News, the president reiterated that the US will take “very strong action” against Tehran if the regime starts hanging protesters.

“We don’t want to see what’s happening in Iran happen,” the president added. “It’s not gonna work out good.”
