Rich Kids of Beverly Hills’ Dorothy Wang is married to Brandon Yankowitz.
Sharing glimpses into her October 11 nuptials and photos from her weekend-long celebrations with Elle, published on Tuesday, October 28, Wang, 37, revealed lavish details into her Florence, Italy, ceremony.
“I think every bride says this, but I wish we could do it again,” Wang told the outlet. “Our guests wanted to stay. Now, we realize that perhaps a one-week wedding isn’t that ridiculous.”
The ceremony took place just a little over one year after Wang, who rose to fame on the E! reality show that aired from 2014 to 2016, and Yankowitz, a lawyer, announced their engagement via a joint Instagram post that was simply captioned, “Engaged,” alongside white heart emojis.
The outlet detailed that the couple tied the knot inside a property named Collegio alla Querce in Florence, and both Wang and Yankowitz had never visited the Italian city prior.
Wang noted that she wanted her wedding guests to “embrace the city,” and planned a “free” day amid formal dinners, a traditional Chinese tea ceremony and the wedding ceremony itself. Suggested activities were booked in case guests needed some inspiration, and spanned “VIP Palazzo Gucci tours” and “intimate pasta-making classes.”
As for Wang’s wedding gown, she selected a custom Oscar de la Renta silk design crafted by Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia — close friends of the bride, per the outlet — that was inspired by “Victorian romance” and featured a Chantilly lace veil. “It’s very special,” Wang said. “We spent a lot of time collaborating on it—it’s 100 percent custom—we really built that dress from the ground up. I was always in great, very talented hands.”
Sharing photos from the big day via Instagram on Tuesday, Wang revealed additional gowns including a haute couture Giambattista Valli reception dress as well as an after-party minidress by AKNVAS that featured a deep sweetheart neckline.
Her earlier tea ceremony saw yet another incredible custom design — Wang opted for a couture sequin number from Laurence Xu that shimmered red and black.
After Wang’s time on Rich Kids of Beverly Hills wrapped, she went on to date publicly via Famously Single. She later stepped into the Bling Empire franchise where her romance with Ari Kourkoumelis was documented before the pair split in spring 2021.
Reflecting on her dating life, she said during an interview with TV Insider in January 2023 that she enjoyed being single. “I think dating in New York is a lot of fun,” she told the outlet at the time. “For me, it’s a different group of people. I think the guys in New York are different from guys in L.A. It was fun to meet new people. For me, dating isn’t always my number one priority but people love to watch.”
The reality star continued, “It has haunted me since Rich Kids because they want to see Dorothy on dates. I’m not necessarily a huge dater though. I’ve tried to be more of a dater since being in New York.”
