The Real Housewives of Miami’s Julia Lemigova is sharing her perspective on why her friendship deteriorated with costar Adriana de Moura.

Julia, 53, caused a collective gasp during the first episode of the Bravo series’ season 7 reunion on Thursday, October 2.

“I would like to say something that I think would bring clarity hopefully, why we are where we are,” she said during the show. “In the Hamptons, Adriana and I slept together.”

Earlier, host Andy Cohen had asked Julia if she considered naming Adriana, 59, the godmother to the two sons she adopted last year with wife Martina Navratilova. Julia responded, “No.”

Adriana, who helped support Julia during the adoption process and wrote character letters on her behalf, responded, “That’s like the deepest dagger in my heart.” She added, “When they were trying and they needed somebody to vouch for them, I did it, not once but twice.”

Adriana said she felt that Julia’s friendships with other cast members affected their own dynamic.

“I feel like when [Julia] started to be friends with Alexia [Nepola], I was fine with it,” she said. “And Alexia wasn’t instigating Julia, but then Marysol [Patton] got in the picture, Julia transformed herself.”

In Adriana’s view, “She took a dive on the dark side. I couldn’t even recognize her anymore. So I’m like yes, there is something underneath that’s changing and enabling her to bring her true self out.”

A promo for the second installment of the reunion showed Adriana denying Julia’s claim about the two sleeping together.

When Cohen, 57, put Julia on the spot, asking whether she and tennis legend Navratilova had an open relationship, she said, “Our marriage was not great.”

She told Cohen of Adriana, “We slept together once, then we fooled around in the Versace mansion.”

Disputing Julia’s account, Adriana accused her former friend of “trying to seduce everybody. Cheat on your wife.”

In the teaser, their castmate Larsa Pippen said that she thinks Julia fabricated her stories.

The drama resumes October 9 and 16, when the final two Real Housewives of Miami reunion episodes air at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
