WASHINGTON — Rep. Cory Mills (R-Fla.) has retained a criminal defense lawyer and is vehemently denying allegations that he extorted the reigning Miss United States by threatening to send her nude pictures and sex videos to significant others, prompting a state law enforcement probe into the matter.

Beauty queen and GOP state committeewoman Lindsey Langston accused the Florida Republican last month of “threatening to release nude images and videos of her, to include recorded videos of her and Cory engaging in sexual acts,” according to a police report filed with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.

She followed up the report with a stalking petition against Mills in county court before it was denied this week, though it’s unclear what evidence the judge consulted for the case.

“As a general rule, when you’re able to prepare an ex parte injunction — a one-sided attack — you’re going to lead with your absolute best evidence,” Mills said in a statement Thursday. “In this case, the judge fully rejected the accusations and found them insufficient to support any of the allegations.”

Mills was one of 409 House lawmakers who voted in April to pass the Take It Down Act, which criminalized the online publication of “revenge porn” or AI-generated intimate visual depictions of others without their consent.

Those convicted under the statute can face up to two years in federal prison if the images feature an adult or three years if they depict a minor.

Aaron Delgado, a former Daytona Beach City Commissioner told The Post Thursday that he’s representing Mills in the sextortion investigation and that he’s unaware of the congressman committing “any violations” of either federal or Florida state revenge porn laws.

“The allegation is basically a threat to maybe release a video,” Delgado said, suggesting the messages leaked so far lacked context.

Mills blamed his former 2022 Republican primary opponent Anthony Sabatini, a state representative and defense attorney who acts as a de facto spokesperson for Langston but is not her lawyer, for “weaponizing” the “judicial system against a former political opponent” with the “baseless accusations.”

“Breakups happen, but it’s truly tragic when a washed‑up politician drags someone else into his vendetta,” added Mills, who entered office in January 2023. “I wish Ms. Langston well and genuine happiness.”

The stalking petition never received a hearing and Langston entered it pro se without legal counsel, according to Sabatini, who noted that the request typically involves proving a defendant has physically followed a plaintiff dozens of times.

Neama Rahmani, a defense attorney and former federal prosecutor who handled sex crimes, claimed Mills’ alleged actions “fit within the four corners” of Florida’s revenge porn statute.

“There’s nothing better than someone putting their crimes in writing,” he said. “She has a very strong case.”

Rahmani added that the House Ethics Committee should immediately investigate the incident, which could result in the congressman being censured from the lower chamber — or even resigning.

“I remain steadfast and committed to doing the work of serving my constituents,” Mills said Thursday. “The people of Florida’s 7th District deserve a representative who puts them first — and that is exactly what I will continue to do.”

Sabatini said if Mills wasn’t “a political figure” he “would have been arrested already.” He later tweeted that the congressman had been ordered “to appear for a hearing in 2 weeks on a petition for a restraining order to prohibit him from stalking his ex-girlfriend Lindsey Langston.”

Langston said she dated Mills from November 2021 to February 2025 but ended their relationship upon finding out he was seeing another woman, before he began sending menacing messages, according to the July 14 police report.

“I hope you hold your crown to the end,” the congressman purportedly told her in a June 12, 2025, missive.

Sabatini published other apparent messages Wednesday on his X account.

“I can send him a few videos of you as well,” Mills allegedly taunted his ex in one exchange. “Oh, I still have them.”

Langston’s report also stated that “threats were made when Cory believed Lindsey to have other romantic partners in her life after the breakup” — and that Mills had alarmed Langston by saying he would “harm any men” she went out with in the future.

The Columbia County GOP official shared the screenshots of text and Instagram messages as evidence sent to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, according to a sheriff’s office spokesman.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has since “received the formal referral from Columbia County Sheriff’s Office on July 16, 2025,” a spokeswoman said Thursday, declining to “comment on any active inquiries or investigations.”

Langston claimed she left Mills after seeing news reports in February 2025 about him having allegedly assaulted another girlfriend. They had been living together in a house in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., since May 2024 after the congressman claimed he finalized his divorce from estranged wife Rana Al Saadi.

Sarah Raviani, an Iranian-American GOP activist, said her “significant other for over a year” had “grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door” at the same address as Mills’ Washington, DC, penthouse, a police incident report reviewed by NBC Washington showed.

“While the personal matter in question was emotionally charged, there was no physical altercation,” Raviani later clarified, declining to press any charges in February. She posted a picture of her with Mills on her Instagram account the following month.

Langston “found a social media account for the other woman and saw photos of her with Cory,” the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office report noted.

In July, Mills’ landlord at his luxury DC apartment complex, where the alleged February assault took place, accused the congressman of missing $85,000 in rent payments. The Florida GOP pol blamed a faulty web payment portal.

The Post reached out to Langston for comment and the Columbia County Clerk of Courts for a copy of the judge’s order. Reps for the Republican Party of Florida did not respond to a request for comment.
