Chris Drury has agreed to a multi-year contract extension, the Rangers announced on Wednesday.

Drury has been the Blueshirts GM and president since 2021 and the organization has posted a 193-105-30 record in 328 regular-season games since that date.

The extension comes after a chaotic season for the Rangers, where the club missed the playoffs and finished with a 39–36-7 record. The year prior, they won the Presidents’ Trophy and reached the Eastern Conference finals.

“Over his tenure, Chris has shown passion for the Rangers, relentless work ethic, and a tireless pursuit of excellence. While we are all disappointed in what transpired this past season, I am confident in his ability to guide this organization to success,” Rangers owner James Dolan said in a statement.
