Darius Butler couldn’t sneak this one by Pat McAfee.

McAfee ribbed his former Colts teammate and current co-host on his self-titled show after Butler described Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard as “sneaky fast” Monday.

“I love the moxie of this Riley Leonard,” McAfee said after Leonard ran near the goal line during the first drive of Notre Dame’s 34-23 loss to Ohio State in the CFP national championship game.

Butler responded: “Sneaky fast.”

“What do you mean?” McAfee quickly countered.

The commentary then went a bit off the rails, with McAfee seemingly calling out Butler for assuming that Leonard wasn’t fast — perhaps due to his skin color.

Someone in the background yelled out “Woah” before Butler described Leonard as “lanky.” Another person then commented, “He’s just fast to me.”

Butler then seemingly made a joke about Leonard sneaking up on him, which drew some pushback from his co-hosts.

“He can jump, too. You ever see him jump? He can dance, too. You ever see him dance?” McAfee said, with the jump line perhaps being a reference to the “White Men Can’t Jump” film.

Butler said “impressive” before McAfee continued.

“He can dance, he’s got rhythms, the Catholics, they got to do the church thing. Stand up, kneel down, stand up, sit down, amen, amen,” McAfee said. “Shout out to the Catholics, shout out to Riley Leonard.”

Leonard and the Fighting Irish scored on that drive to take an early 7-0 lead, but that proved to be their high moment of the game.

The Buckeyes scored the next 31 points, putting Notre Dame in a huge deficit that proved too much to overcome.

The Fighting Irish did not help themselves when coach Marcus Freeman opted for a field goal from the 9-yard line in the fourth quarter in a 16-point game, only for Mitch Jeter to miss the kick.

Leonard had a solid day against a tough defense, completing 22 of 31 passes for 255 yards and two touchdowns while he added 17 rushes for 40 yards and one touchdown.
