NFL quarterback Zach Wilson has found his forever cheerleader in wife Nicolette Dellanno.

Wilson, 25, and Dellanno, 23, tied the knot in New York City on Saturday, June 28, at the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral before later celebrating their nuptials at the famous Rainbow Room.

Dellanno reposted several behind-the-scenes images from the wedding via her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 29, including a close-up shot of her wedding dress. The off-the-shoulder gown featured a corset top with a flowing skirt and floral details, styling her hair in loose waves. Wilson, for his part, looked dapper in a tux and bowtie.

In footage from their party, Wilson lifted up Dellanno and spun her around as they hit the dance floor. The couple were also seen cutting into a white five-tiered cake with floral embellishments and gold cursive lettering that read, “N&Z.”

One year before their nuptials, Wilson popped the question to Dellanno.

“To the love of my life, I never truly understood what love was until I met you,” Wilson wrote via Instagram in June 2024. “You’re not just my partner, but my best friend and my everything. I can’t wait to make a lifetime of memories with you, Nic ❤️I love you.”

The athlete shared a series of snaps from his vacation with Dellanno in Italy, including one pic where she showed off her new ring.

While uploading several similar images, Dellanno celebrated her engagement. “Zach, you are the best thing that has ever happened to me,” she captioned her Instagram post at the time. “Everyday I admire your strength and i’m so incredibly proud of you. I’m so in love with you and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together🤍I love you.”

Wilson and Dellanno began their romance in 2022, when he was playing for the New York Jets. In June 2022, the twosome were caught on camera doing the wave while attending a New York Yankees game together.

Wilson was selected by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft before suffering a knee injury during his first season with the team and another injury in the 2022 season, resulting in a demotion to third-string QB. In his third season with the Jets, Wilson was supposed to learn from Aaron Rodgers — but the former Green Bay Packers star tore his Achilles four plays into his first game. In 2024, Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos before signing with the Miami Dolphins the next year.
