Week 1 of NFL Preseason is coming to an end with the New Orleans Saints visiting the Los Angeles Chargers.
The Chargers already opened their preseason last week with a 34-7 win over the Detroit Lions in the 2025 Hall of Fame Game. Today, a different player will start at quarterback. While they went with Trey Lance in the first game, Taylor Heinicke will start today.
The Saints will open preseason with Spencer Rattler at QB; Rattler started six games for the Saints last season. Tyler Shough, the Saints’ second-round draft pick this year, will also see action this afternoon.
