Taylor Swift had a pinch-me moment while taking in the scene after the Chiefs punched their ticket to Super Bowl 2025 on Sunday.
The mega popstar said she was “in shock” while celebrating with her boyfriend, Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce, and his mother, Donna, following the Chiefs’ 32-29 victory over the Bills in the AFC Championship game at Arrowhead Stadium.
“Oh my god, This is so insane,” Swift, 35, said in a video posted by NFL Films on Wednesday. “Look at this. This is not a real-life situation.”
“This is so crazy,” she said, looking up at the red and gold confetti falling. “I cannot believe this is really happening. I’m in shock, I’m in shock. This is so cool.”
The couple also reminisced about the Chiefs’ 17-10 over the Ravens in last year’s AFC Championship game — when they celebrated on the field at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.
“It wasn’t like this in Baltimore last year,” Kelce, 35, said.
“No, it was not,” responded Swift.
“No, we were all by ourselves,” Donna added.
Kansas City is returning for its third straight Super Bowl, with the team on the brink of a historic three-peat.
Kelce, who’s spent his entire career with Kansas City, is playing for his fourth Super Bowl title.
“I’m trying to win a third one, Mom,” the All-Pro tight end said of the chance to make history. “I’m doing anything I possibly can. I’ll run through a wall.”
Swift and Kelce, who have been dating since the summer of 2023, celebrated with family and friends in the tight end’s private suite after the game.
Swift supported Kelce when the Chiefs beat the 49ers in overtime in last year’s Super Bowl, 25-22, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
The 14-time Grammy winner, who was in the midst of her Eras Tour, traveled from Tokyo to the United States to make it back for the big game.
The Chiefs and Eagles will meet in a Super Bowl rematch in New Orleans on Feb. 9.
Kansas City beat Philadelphia, 38-35, in Super Bowl 2023.
