MSNBC host Joe Scarborough has laid into Chicago Dems on Tuesday, calling on the party to work with President Trump in the wake of a bloody Labor Day weekend, which saw at least 54 shot and eight killed in the city.

The “Morning Joe” star called on Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker to “partner up” with the president in a “radical” bid to stop the bloodshed in Chicago.

Scarborough, who only last week suggested Trump shouldn’t deploy the National Guard to the city, appeared to do a 180 on Tuesday’s show following the weekend violence.

He also called out Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson, a socialist who has repeatedly refused to accept federal support or to increase police numbers in his city.

“I actually think that JB Pritzker should do something radical. I think he should pick up the phone, call the president and say, ‘You know and I know you don’t have the constitutional authority to deploy the National Guard here. You can do that in DC. You can’t do that in Chicago. But let’s partner up,’” Scarborough said.
