Millie Bobby Brown and her husband, Jake Bongiovi, are marking their first wedding anniversary with gushing tributes.

“1 year married 🤍,” Brown, 21, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, September 21. “I love being your wife.”

Brown shared a sweet photo from her and Bongiovi’s 2024 wedding, in which they embraced during their “first look.” (Many couples often opt for a private moment together ahead of the ceremony.)

In response to Brown’s social media post, her Florence by Mills brand commented, “Mom and dad.”

Bongiovi, 23, also honored the milestone with a social media upload of his own.

“One year in the books, many more to go,” Bongiovi, one of rocker Jon Bon Jovi and wife Dorothea Hurley’s sons, captioned another Instagram pic from their wedding. “I love you so much my beautiful wife. Happy anniversary.”

Brown and Bongiovi’s anniversary is extra special as it is also their first as parents.

“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” they wrote in a joint statement last month. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter in both peace and privacy. And then there were three!”

Brown and Bongiovi have not publicly shared their little one’s name or a photo. They were, however, on the same page about having a family well in advance.

“We were pretty united going into [our relationship],” Brown told Vanity Fair in a profile published in March. “We talked about our political views, what kind of family we want to build, the kind of home we want to live in, the kind of relationship we’re looking for [and] the kind of careers we want. It’s such an important decision, and we wanted to make sure we were making the right one. I knew I was. It always felt right with him.”

The same month, Brown also revealed why she wasn’t afraid to embrace young parenthood.

“My mom actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19. It’s been my thing since before I met Jake,” the Stranger Things star said on the “Smartless” podcast. “Since I was a baby, I told my mom, like, baby dolls. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me. I mean, Jake knows how important it is to me.”

She continued, “My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four,” Brown explained. “He’s one of four. So, it is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don’t see having your own child, you know, as really any different as in adopting.”
