What Has Meghan Trainor Said About Her Weight Loss Journey?
In March 2025, Trainor revealed her fitness progress was the result of a combination of factors — including healthier eating habits, regular workouts, and the weight loss drug Mounjaro after an appearance at the Billboard’s Women in Music Awards.
She confessed that it was “a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here.”
“No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago. I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me,” Trainor wrote via Instagram at the time.
“I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy,” she added. “And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”
The music sensation shot to fame with her 2014 global smash hit “All About That Bass” and has since welcomed two kids — Riley and Barry — with husband Daryl Sabara.
Trainor has been transparent about her decision to use the weight-loss drug Mounjaro, sharing her experience candidly with fans in April.
The singer said that she and her husband opted for Mounjaro because it “had less side effects” than other weight loss injections. (GLP-1 injections are primarily prescribed to help people who have diabetes with weight management.)

“I’ve always struggled with loving my boobs before I got them done,” she told fans via Instagram, revealing undergoing the procedure boosted her confidence “because they were never even [and] were always sagging my whole life.”
“These breast implants are the only ones in the world with smooth silk, a surface designed to minimize inflammation so the tissue around the implant stays soft,” she continued. “Honestly, they look and feel amazing.”
Meghan Trainor Fired Back at Critics of Her Appearance
Trainor shut down naysayers in August 2025 after sharing a video of herself taking part in the Nicki Minaj stiletto challenge, sporting a long, sleek ponytail with bangs parted in the middle.
“Glam team really did that,” Trainor captioned a TikTok video, while lip-synching to Megan Thee Stallion’s “Her.”
“I don’t care if these bitches don’t like me,” she mouthed. “‘Cause, like, I’m pretty as f***. Just the other day, I heard a hoe say. Matter of fact, what could hoe say with a face like this and a bitch bad? S***.”
