Kyle Chrisley’s Mugshot Released, New Details on Domestic Violence, Intoxication Arrest Revealed

News RoomBy News RoomDecember 23, 20252 ViewsNo Comments

Todd Chrisley’s son Kyle Chrisley’s mugshot has been released two days after he was booked on domestic violence, intoxication and a slew of other charges.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee made Kyle’s mugshot public on Monday, December 22, while confirming more details about his arrest over the weekend.

In the photo obtained by Us Weekly, Kyle, 34, is making a stern face as he looks at the camera. His dirty blond hair is disheveled and he has a scruffy beard. A bit of a green vest can also be seen in the photo.

Along with the mugshot, Sheriff Mike Fitzhugh issued a press release on Monday, confirming that “multiple charges were filed against a husband accused of assaulting three deputies responding to a domestic assault call” that transpired on Saturday, December 20.

Kyle has since been charged with three counts of “felony retaliation for past actions,” three counts of “felony assault on first responders” as well as “misdemeanor domestic assault, public intoxication, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest,” according to police.

News broke on Sunday, December 21, that Todd’s eldest son — whom he shares with ex-wife Teresa Terry — was arrested one day prior in Tennessee.

According to Monday’s press release, deputies responded to a call on Saturday made by Kyle’s wife, who claimed he was being “belligerent” and walking down the middle of the road as she followed him in her vehicle. (Kyle married Ashleigh Nelson in 2021.)

Once the police arrived on scene, they attempted to speak with Kyle, but according to sergeant Brady Greene, the former reality star “became immediately aggressive.”

Kyle then allegedly “charged at deputies and began to throw punches and assault deputies.”

He was taken into custody after a “physical altercation and deployment of OC Spray,” per the officer. Three deputies reportedly “suffered injuries” during the altercation.

Kyle, meanwhile, was released on $88,5000 bond and has a hearing set for January 27.

Following his arrest, Us Weekly reached out to Kyle for comment.

As Chrisley Knows Best fans know, this is not Kyle’s first run-in with the law, as he has a history of arrests dating back to 2013. At the time, Kyle’s dad and stepmom, Julie Chrisley, received joint custody of his daughter, Chloe, now 13, after he was arrested for assault. Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, received full custody of Chloe in 2016.

In 2019, Kyle was hospitalized following an attempted suicide. Through the darkness, Kyle found a shining light in Nelson, whom he began dating that same year.

Two years after the pair tied the knot, Kyle was back in the headlines. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault in March 2023. Kyle was later released on bond and before a trial, prosecutors dismissed the charges.

In August, Kyle filed a $1.7 million lawsuit against Rutherford County and two sheriff’s deputies over a September 2024 aggravated assault arrest.

In the documents, both Kyle and his wife claimed that he was falsely arrested at his home in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, in 2024 following an altercation with a “disgruntled mechanic” who they claimed was “angry over a payment dispute, showed up uninvited, kicked at their doors, threatened violence and used his car as a weapon by ramming their SUV and nearly running Kyle over in front of multiple neighbors.”
