After a thrilling Game 1 on Friday evening, the Knicks and Pistons are back at it tonight for Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs first round.
Behind as the fourth quarter began, the Knicks went on to score 40 points, including a stretch where they went 21-0 to take (and keep) the lead. The Knicks won the game 123-112.
Tonight’s Game 2 will be the last on the Knicks’ home court until a potential Game 5. If they win it, they can take a 2-0 series lead to Detroit, where Games 3 and 4 will be played.
The Pistons will likely come in hot again tonight, the way they had early in Game 1. The Post’s Andrew Crane writes that the Knicks can afford to let the Pistons “resurrect themselves” in tonight’s Game 2.
