Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion aren’t being coy about their romance anymore.
Days after teasing their relationship on social media, the new couple made their red carpet debut Wednesday at the Grammy winner’s inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York.
“He’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my life,” Megan gushed about Thompson to People.
Megan, 30, dressed in a stunning black gown that featured a cutout and embellishments, while the star Mavericks guard, 35, looked dapper in a black tux.
The lovebirds also shared a kiss on the step-and-repeat at Gotham Hall.
Megan originally launched the Pete & Thomas Foundation in 2022 in honor of her parents, intending “to provide resources to effect meaningful change in the lives of women, children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, Texas, and around the globe,” according to the organization’s website.
The rapper, who hails from Texas, stirred buzz about her personal life last week after she cryptically featured Thompson in a swimsuit post.
The four-time NBA champion alluded to the relationship days later in PDA-filled photos.
In a shot shared on Saturday on Instagram, Thompson could be seen embracing a woman, whose face was turned away from the camera. However, her pink nails matched those Megan rocked in the original swimsuit pics.
Megan’s relationship with Thompson comes nearly a year after she was linked to NBA forward Torrey Craig. He played for the Bulls at the time.
Thompson was previously involved with actress Laura Harrier.
The five-time NBA All-Star is coming off his first season in Dallas after spending the first 13 seasons of his career with Golden State.
Thompson originally agreed to a three-year, $50 million contract with the Mavericks in free agency last summer.
