Kelly Osbourne is in full mommy mode.
The TV personality, 40, opened up to Us Weekly exclusively about her son, Sidney, entering his “terrible twos,” a childhood development phase that often includes tantrums and more expressive emotions.
“It’s insane. I never get a second,” Osbourne shared at the Clarins ICONS Event in Los Angeles last week. “I’m exhausted every night. I can’t believe I’m even out today, but I’m very excited to be here.”
Osbourne and her boyfriend, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, welcomed Sidney in November 2022. The toddler may be in his terrible twos, but that hasn’t stopped Osbourne from enjoying every minute of motherhood. The former reality TV star told Us she “loves” being a mom.
“It’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” Osbourne gushed. “I didn’t have a purpose in this world and then I had a baby, and then I got purpose.”
Becoming a mother has also taught Osbourne that she’s “a lot more patient than I gave myself credit for.” The singer previously told Us that Sidney came at exactly the right time in her life.
“I don’t believe God would’ve given me a baby during a time when I wasn’t mentally or physically prepared for it,” Osbourne shared in October 2024. “[When] I was still actively drinking, still actively using … I would’ve been a terrible mother. I wasn’t selfless enough. I’m so glad it happened when I was a little older and I had my s— together.”
Osbourne’s focus on family includes her relationship with Wilson, 48, who she began dating in 2022. Osbourne is head over heels for her beau, telling Us that he’s “the yin to my yang.”
“He’ll sit there and then there are some days that we’re talking and I’m just like, ‘How are you even real?’” Osbourne said. “I love him.”
