Princess Kate Middleton’s longtime personal assistant Natasha Archer has reportedly been cleaning house — at least on social media — amid her departure from Kensington Palace.

While the Princess of Wales, 43, appears to be safe, Meghan Markle and her lifestyle brand, As Ever, were on the chopping block. Shortly after news broke on July 9 that Archer is leaving her post with the royals after 15 years of service, she made her Instagram profile public.

Eagle eyed fans reportedly noticed that Archer followed Meghan, 43, and her brand, As Ever, according to People. Us Weekly can confirm that as of Thursday, July 17, Archer does not follow Meghan or her lifestyle brand.

Archer has seemingly cut ties with others in Meghan’s inner circle since branching out on her own and launching her own luxury consultancy. (Archer’s Instagram profile is designed for her new company but has no posts.)

Archer, who is also known as Kate’s unofficial stylist, reportedly followed Daniel Martin, Delfina Blaquier and Heather Dorak when her page was made public. The three names are close friends of Meghan and as of Thursday, are no longer under Archer’s “following” list.

People reported that Archer was once following Meghan’s hair colorist Kadi Lee’s Highbrow Hippie page, but that is no longer the case. Archer reportedly unfollowed any fashion blogs that focused on Meghan and Kate’s style.

Archer’s recent social media unfollows do not include the majority of the royal family. She still follows Kate and husband Prince William’s official handle as well as King Charles III and Queen Camilla’s royal page.

The former assistant is still keeping up with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, according to her “following” list. Beatrice, for her part, doesn’t have a personal Instagram.

Archer was initially hired as both William, 43, and Kate’s personal assistant in 2010. In her tenure, she has crossed paths with some of the biggest names in England, including Prince Harry and Meghan, who tied the knot in 2018.

While Harry, 40, and Meghan stepped down from their senior royal duties in 2020 and relocated to the United States, Archer has remained loyal to the crown.

Over the years, Archer became part of Kate’s inner circle and worked her way up the ranks. In 2019, Archer was honored with the Royal Victorian Order, which recognizes service to the royal household.

Archer, who is married to Chris Jackson, was promoted to senior private executive assistant to the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Us confirmed on July 9 that Archer plans to run her own private consultancy after leaving the royal household. Her official Instagram handle already has over 6,000 followers and her email for her services are available in the bio.
