Jennie Garth is celebrating a family milestone with some new ink.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 actress, 52, recently marked daughter Fiona’s 18th birthday by getting matching tattoos.
“18th birthday ✔️,” she wrote via her Instagram Story on Thursday, March 27. “Mother / Daughter tattoos ✔️.”
While the final design has yet to be revealed, celebrity tattoo artist Ignacio Suarez had the opportunity to add a small bit of ink to the duo’s arms.
“The bond between Jennie and her daughter was so great to witness,” Suarez exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, March 28. “Creating a lasting memory for them with matching tattoos was an absolute pleasure.:
Garth — who is also mom of Luca, 27, and Lola, 22, with ex-husband Peter Facinelli — is no stranger to celebrating her daughters’ big milestones.
In honor of International Women’s Day, the mother of three reflected on the fine women her children have become.
“My daughters are my best friends, my creative partners (@mebyjenniegarth😉) and most of all my inspirations,” the QVC fashion designer wrote via Instagram on March 8. “I am so grateful to watch them grow into the independent, strong, beautiful women they are today. Through the ups and downs of life, I feel confident that by my sharing with them how I have overcome difficulties, they are even more prepared to tackle anything that comes their way.”
As many parents can relate to, however, time really does fly by.
Less than a year ago, Garth reflected on the quickness of high school while celebrating Fiona’s prom.
“This will be my second to last prom with my girls,” the “I Choose Me” podcast host wrote via Instagram in June 2024. “It’s always so fun helping them to get dressed up and feeling beautiful. Enjoy every moment of the journey. It passes by so fast… ❤️.”
While Garth and Facinelli, 51, divorced in 2012 after nearly 11 years of marriage, the duo have found themselves as friends as they navigate coparenting. (Garth has since married Dave Abrams, while Facinelli is engaged to Lily Anne Harrison.)
In July 2024, Garth joked that her ex-husband unblocked her on social media before confirming they are in a good spot.
Being friends with Facinelli has allowed Garth to savor quality time with her daughters as they “grow up so fast.”
“Oh, my gosh, the truest thing has never been said,” she told People in April 2024. “I never believed that when people were saying it about me, but when I’m saying it about my daughters, it’s terrifying because their world is moving at lightning speed, and there’s just so much access to everything now that you really have to … just put in the time and the work.”
