Jana Kramer’s husband, Allan Russell, is getting candid about the couple’s sex life — and his personal routine.

“Since I met Jana and we’ve subsequently [gotten] married and had a baby and stuff, there’s no point — and I can be really honest in this — there’s no point where I actually feel like masturbating,” Russell, 44, said on the Wednesday, July 9, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Whine Down” podcast. “We have, what I think, is a healthy sex life.”

Russell said that he enjoys “making love” to Kramer, 41, and having “essential and physical moments” as a married couple.

“So there’s a part of me [that] is like, I know it’s going to come, so I’m not going to ruin it by doing what I need to do selfishly for myself to then diminish or ruin the thing that we have together,” he explained. “Therefore I just don’t feel like doing it because I would rather have her, than go into the bathroom or whatever it is and masturbate.”

While Kramer interjected to say that she doesn’t “hate that answer,” Russell noted that when he was single he would “masturbate a lot” — but now, he doesn’t “feel like it.”

Kramer and Russell made their relationship public in 2023, welcoming son Roman later that year. (Kramer is also the mother of kids Jolie, 9, and Jace, 6, with ex-husband Mike Caussin, while Russell welcomed son Troy in a previous relationship.)

The pair initially tied the knot in January 2024 before having a second ceremony that July.

“Yeah, we got married in January, and we made it formal to people in July,” Kramer admitted during a March episode of her “Whine Down” podcast. “We were desperate to marry each other.”

As the pair settled into married life, the One Tree Hill alum explained how she and the English soccer coach are balancing their relationship and parenthood.

“It doesn’t feel like anything’s changed, but also there’s this security that feels really beautiful,” Kramer exclusively told Us Weekly in September 2024. “We went from being so relaxed and chill in Italy to all kids back to school. … I think we’re finding the balance of how to prioritize us [as a couple] — because that’s also important — while also not missing out on things with the kids and being super present with them, and also having a 10-month-old.”

She continued, “There are many times now where I just reflect and go, ‘Wow! I would not have pictured this three years ago, let alone 10 years ago, how my life would have looked.’ And I’m just so grateful for how it does look.”
