Philadelphia’s favorite newlyweds had quite the night out in New York City.
Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts and wife Bryonna “Bry” Burrows dazzled at the 2025 Met Gala on Monday — weeks after this year’s Super Bowl MVP revealed the couple had tied the knot in the offseason.
Dressed in designs by Burberry, Hurts, 26, looked dapper in a black double-breasted suit with floral embroidery, according to the British fashion house’s official release, while Burrows stunned in an embellished maroon dress that featured a thigh-high slit.
The outing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art followed Hurts’ revealing Men’s Health cover story that dropped last month, when he divulged the college sweethearts are now Mr. and Mrs.
“You can call her my wife,” Hurts told the publication.
Hurts and Burrows first crossed paths at the University of Alabama in 2016. The quarterback, who spent three seasons with the Crimson Tide before transferring to the Oklahoma Sooners in 2019, said he knew Burrows was his person for some time.
“I knew a long time ago,” Hurts said in an interview with Essence. “I mean, to this point in my life, that’s an irreplaceable feeling. I think that’s what allowed us to get to where we are now.”
Hurts’ and Burrows’ engagement was revealed in September 2024.
Months later, the couple embraced on the field at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, where Hurts and the Eagles toppled the reigning champion Chiefs in Super Bowl 2025.
Hurts threw for 221 yards, two touchdowns and an interception while rushing for a score in Philly’s dominant 40-22 victory on Feb. 9.
The two-time Pro Bowler wasn’t the only member of the Eagles at Monday’s Met Gala.
Star running back Saquon Barkley made his first Met Gala appearance in six years. He attended back in 2019 following a dominant rookie season with the Giants.
Although Barkley, 28, attended fashion’s big night solo, his fiancée, Anna Congdon, posted snaps of the star on her Instagram Story before he hit the red carpet.
The couple has dated since their college days at Penn State and share two children.
