Jaime King appears to have found love again.

According to a report by People, published in the late hours of Tuesday, July 8, the actress, 46, is engaged to investment banker Austin Sosa. The outlet’s report included a Monday, July 7, photo of King flashing a large diamond on her ring finger while leaving a salon in West Hollywood, California.

Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for King for comment.

The report comes after King, who finalized her divorce from ex-husband Kyle Newman in September 2023, said during the April 10 episode of the “Whine Down With Jana Kramer” podcast that she will do everything in her power “to change the system” in relation to her and Newman’s custody agreement over their two sons: James, 11, and Leo, 9.

Despite the couple agreeing to share custody of their children when their divorce was finalized, Us obtained court documents on March 17 that confirmed that Newman, 49, was awarded sole physical custody after King allegedly failed to complete a six-month rehabilitation program.

King and Newman still share joint legal custody of their children, but the documents showed that a judge ruled that Newman was given “tie-breaking authority.”

The Hart of Dixie star offered fans a glimpse into her family life via social media last month. Posting an Instagram carousel of four photos that captured King with her two sons, she captioned her upload, “My God, I am the luckiest and most great mother ever.”

The post also acknowledged special people in her life, thanking them for their “family forever” support, including “Austin.” Sosa, who manages a private Instagram account, was also tagged in the carousel.

Sosa graduated from Brigham Young University, per People, and now appears to reside in Los Angeles, per his LinkedIn profile.

As for King’s head space during recent months, the actress opened up while appearing on the podcast episode, describing her custody battle with Newman as “terrifying.”

She admitted that she knew very little about legalities when she and Newman divorced one another. “I thought that, you know, when you choose to love someone, then you love that person. You build a family with them, and you trust them. And sometimes it’s not always that way,” she told Jana Kramer, 41.

King continued, “I never wanted my children to think that some, any part of them was wrong. I’m extremely grateful, and at the same time, the system is really unfair. And I think that it’s really important to support the structure of family and kindness.”
