The wife of the late Hulk Hogan is mulling a medical malpractice lawsuit following the shocking death of the WWE icon last month, according to a report Thursday from the Daily Mail.

Should a suit come to fruition, it would likely be centered on a neck operation Hogan had in May, per Thursday’s report.

“We are investigating for possible malpractice. If you have shortness of breath for a long time, that makes you very sick,” Sky Daily told the Daily Mail. “It’s not something that’s an alarming (sudden) cause of death. It’s something that wears on you, makes you weak.”

This comes one week after Daily told TMZ Sports that Hogan’s phrenic nerve — described by the Cleveland Clinic as the area of the body that “controls your diaphragm and is essential to your ability to breathe” — had been “compromised” during a procedure.

Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24 at the age of 71.

His cause of death was ruled to be a heart attack, according to the Pinellas County (Florida) Forensic Science Center records obtained by Page Six.

The WWE Hall of Famer had a history of irregular heartbeat and of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a cancer that affects white blood cells.

New details surrounding Hogan’s death have continued to come to light, with TMZ Sports reporting last week that an occupational therapist was present at his Clearwater, Fla., home when he stopped breathing.

The therapist claimed to the police that a surgeon had “severed” Hogan’s phrenic nerve during a procedure.

Daily, who married Hogan in 2023, told TMZ Sports that an autopsy had been conducted but did not share the results.

“I wasn’t ready for this…and my heart is in pieces,” Daily wrote on Instagram in the wake of Hogan’s death. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”

Before his wedding to Daily, Hogan had been married to his first wife, Linda Hogan, from 1983 to 2009. He remarried in 2010 to Jennifer McDaniel, but announced their divorce in 2022.

Linda and Hogan shared son Nick, 35, and daughter Brooke, 37, who has been outspoken regarding the circumstances of her father’s passing.

She and Hogan had been estranged in recent years.

In a recent interview with The Post’s Joseph Staszewski, Nick Hogan detailed how the family aided Hogan in the final months of his life.

“We all put our best foot forward and tried to be there with support and putting our heads together to help and trying to figure out the best way for him to recover. Unfortunately, it was not the easiest situation to be in and not the easiest road,” he said.
