No roster is perfect.
But some are closer than others.
It certainly looks and feels as if the one the Giants assembled heading into the 2025 season is capable of competing at a higher level than the versions they put out there in ’22, ’23 and ’24. Some of the glaring holes were plugged and a few of the obvious questions were answered.
There are reasons, though, why the Giants are so lightly regarded outside of their own building. There are issues to be resolved and personnel decisions to be cleared up. Are they a few steps away from their season going gangbusters or haywire?
