The Giants have closed the talent gap — to a degree — on the rest of the NFC East, and Jerry Jones gifting the Packers with Micah Parsons was a gift for Big Blue as well.

When you laid a rotten 3-14 egg, a wild-card playoff berth should be considered the ceiling, and most Giants fans would sign up for that in a heartbeat.

The vibe, lifted to a considerably more upbeat and optimistic place by Russell Wilson and Brian Burns and Jameis Winston, and first-round draft picks Abdul Carter and Jaxson Dart, has the Giants believing that they can be one of the NFL’s surprise teams.

The 2025 Giants will begin their 101st anniversary season with more swagger than we have seen across the first three years of the Brian Daboll-Joe Schoen regime.
