Erin Napier is making it clear that she’s had enough negativity from trolls who don’t like her stance on Charlie Kirk’s death.

The Home Town star, 40, caused a stir on Thursday, September 11, when she seemingly commented on Kirk’s shooting via her Instagram Story.

“Only the demonized celebrate death,” Napier’s message read one day after Kirk, a controversial conservative commentator and head of Turning Point USA, died on Wednesday, September 10.

Kirk was shot during a speech at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah, and later pronounced dead at the hospital. He was 31.

An hour after Napier shared a message about refusing to “celebrate” murder on Thursday, she returned to her Instagram Stories to reveal she’d received a disturbing response from some followers.

“I am revolted by some of the comments in my DMs about the last slide,” she wrote via social media, according to Parade. “Unfollow me, immediately, if you could be one of those comments. Christ, have mercy on us all.”

The HGTV star went on to call out specific messages she’d received from haters via her Instagram Story on Friday, September 12.

“Will no longer watch their show, putting her book and candles in the trash and removing all of them from social media feeds. Support of intolerance and hate has no place in my life,” one user commented on Napier’s Instagram page, according to a screenshot she shared.

Napier clapped back at the threat, writing via her Instagram Story that the hate came “because I will not celebrate murder.”

Erin, who alongside her husband, Ben Napier, focus on spreading cheer and bettering their community in Laurel, Mississippi, on their HGTV show, didn’t stop there.

She shared a message she received from “a psychiatrist” who condemned her alleged support of Kirk.

“Really Erin? You are home schooling your precious children in LAUREL, MS (of all places) to prevent something like this from happening to them,” the user wrote. “This guy was ALL FOR IT. He died for what he believed in. God have mercy on his soul because I do not.”

Erin fired back, “You know nothing about why I am homeschooling my children, you sick goblin.”

Another person attempted to DM Erin, writing, “Thanks for making an unfollow easy peasy.”

Erin once again told her followers the negative messages were “because I will not celebrate murder.”

Before Kirk’s death, he was one of the more influential voices in conservative media, especially on his “The Charlie Kirk Show” podcast.

Kirk was a right-wing activist who caused controversy with some because of his beliefs on key political issues, including the support of gun rights.

Despite his beliefs, many celebrities have spoken out against his murder by denouncing killing in any form.

“Political violence has no place in this country. We must condemn this horrifying attack,” Senator Bernie Sanders wrote via X after the shooting. “My thoughts are with Charlie Kirk and his family.”

Jimmy Kimmel shared a tribute via Instagram, writing, “Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human? On behalf of my family, we send love to the kirks and to all the children, parents and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence.”

Josh Duhamel shared a similar sentiment via social media, writing, “RIP Charlie Kirk. Please remember, no matter what your political beliefs, that this man had a wife and two beautiful children who no longer have him. Please pray for this madness to stop.”
