Game, set, snatch.
A vile, grown man sparked outrage after he was caught on camera swiping Polish tennis star Kamil Majchrzak’s hat from an eager young fan at the US Open.
The sophomoric scene unfolded Thursday afternoon as Majchrzak greeted fans and signed autographs courtside following his epic five-set victory over No. 9 seed Karen Khachanov, according to footage from the live broadcast.
Majchrzak took off his hat and attempted to hand it to a young boy in the stands — when the greedy guy clutching a tennis ball snatched the memento away and shoved it into his wife’s bag.
“What are you doing?” the outraged boy screamed at the shameless cap caper.
The hat hog ignored the devastated child and then thrust a water bottle into the tennis star’s face for another autograph.
Majchrzak continued signing autographs, oblivious to the shocking incident — until he finally realized what had happened Friday.
“After the match I didn’t record that my cap didn’t get to the boy,” the 29-year-old tennis star posted on Instagram, with screenshots of the heartbroken young fan during the heinous moment.
“Hey Guys, could you help me find the Kid from my match. If it’s you (or your parents see this), please send me a DM.”
Majchrzack, noting he has enough caps to go around, followed up an hour later confirming the boy had been identified and was “impressed by the power of the internet.”
Fans and social media have since taken aim at the miscreant who turned a heartwarming memory into a ugly spectacle, calling him a “jerk,” a “terrible man,” and an “ass—-.”
“Stealing from a child is completely disgusting,” one Reddit user wrote Friday.
“What a total piece of s–t. I’m glad it was caught on camera. Hope he enjoys his 15mins of fame.”
Another Reddit poster said, “And the winner of the douchebag of the year award goes to…”
