Petulant government employees are being mocked online after posting TikTok videos moaning about how President Trump has ordered them back to the office five days a week — with one wailing: “I am so upset.”

The taxpayer-funded workers quickly went viral after griping about the executive order Trump signed Jan. 20 that requires federal agencies to ax remote work options — forcing most staffers to show their faces in person.

In one clip, Genesis Cuesta — a federal court worker in Washington, DC — raged it was “f–ked” that she and her co-workers have to show up beginning March 10.

“It happened… what a way to end the week,” Cuesta said in a since-deleted TikTok video. “Five o’clock on a Friday, got our notice, effective March 10th, we’re back in the office five days a week — no telework, and that’s the most f–ked thing.”

“I am so upset, I am so mad,” she continued. “Like, this f–king sucks. This sucks. And the crazy thing is, we’ve only just begun… We’re just getting started in all of this f–kery.”

Another worker — identified only as Kati — recorded herself reading out a memo fired off by the Office of Personnel Management, the agency that manages the federal civil service, informing employees of the looming changes.

“That’s crazy,” the worker said in a clip shared on X by the Libs of TikTok account.

“Five days a week in person,” Kati added as she repeatedly buried her head in her hand.

The backlash against the grumblers was swift on social media.

“This DC bureaucrat is outraged she’s gone to have to go in to work every day,” one X user said. “She’s deeply concerned for all the parents who now have to figure out child care! In reality, these people have been collecting fat salaries since COVID while chilling at home.”

“Welcome to the real world, I’ll get out my little violin for you,” another social media user said.

Others said the workers should give up their jobs if they didn’t want to come back.

“Federal employees been taking advantage of working from home, doing everything but working.
Collecting our tax dollars with a shot glass on your space bar to keep your computer up and running — doing everything but working on behalf of the American people,” one young TikToker said.

“If you don’t wanna go to work, there’s plenty of us that need jobs. There’s plenty of us that would love to have a job with good benefits … Move aside.”

The outrage came after Trump directed the heads of all federal agencies to “take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements” and require employees to report to “their respective duty stations” full-time.

The two-sentence order, one of dozens Trump signed shortly after being sworn in, said the directive “shall be implemented consistent with applicable law.”
