What our Post expert thinks about White Sox vs. Yankees

Rodon has allowed six earned runs through 25 innings in September. He’s 2-2 throughout those four starts.

The southpaw has had a bounce-back season in xERA, projecting 3.17 to last season’s 4.04. He’s been especially effective with strikeouts, drawing a 25.8% strikeout rate and 30.4% in the whiff department.

Martin has allowed 10 earned runs throughout 22 1/3 innings in September, earning a 2-1 record through four starts.

He’s been able to elicit groundballs at an above-average rate, but his Statcast profile is ice-cold in everything from velocity to strikeout rates and contact numbers.
