He’s campaigning for the Teflon Don and Ol’ Blue Eyes.
A popular Italian American influencer took to the polls in New York City Friday — and wrote in John Gotti and Frank Sinatra as POTUS and veep on his ballot.
Staten Island native Danny Mondello, known as “Cugine,” shared a video of his ballot, which got more than 80,000 likes — but many critiques — from his 2.6 million TikTok and 1.4 million Instagram followers.
One commenter went so far as to tell him it’s illegal to photograph your ballot.
“They’re a bunch of rats. Is it illegal? Who actually cares?” said Mondello, 27, who voted in his hometown of Rossville.
“I mean I voted for John Gotti and Frank Sinatra and they’re both f–kin’ dead, so what does that even matter?”
Mondello told The Post he’s been trying to stay away from reading the comments.
“I really haven’t because these people are out of control with this political s–t. Like, ‘What are you doing? That’s a vote for Trump,’ ‘That’s a vote for Kamala,’ like who gives a f–k?” he said.
“Does it really matter? Do you think they’re gonna wipe your a– in the morning? No. So what the hell’s the difference?”
Others said he wasted his vote, but Cugine — who gets his name from the slang word for “cugino,” Italian for “cousin” which is also used to describe Italian Americans — disagrees.
“My vote really don’t matter in New York anyway, it’s always blue, so what the hell’s the difference? I might as well have fun with it,” Mondello explained.
Some commented that they were unfollowing the influencer, who became famous for his Big Apple food reviews.
“I say, ‘Go ahead. Don’t let the door hit you in the a–.’ … Unfollow me because I voted for an alleged mob boss and a singer who are both dead,’” said Mondello, who actually gained 300 followers since yesterday’s post.
“I think if you’re unfollowing someone for voting for a fake candidate, you should see a therapist or something. You have bigger fish to fry.”
Mondello, who insists he “voted seriously on all the other candidates,” said he had his reasons for casting his ballot for Gotti and Sinatra.
He said he chose the late boss of the Gambino crime family because he was the original Italian American influencer, “the way he dressed and conducted himself in the public — his hair, his outfits, his pinky rings, his level of class.”
Voting for the Hoboken crooner was also a no-brainer.
“His nickname is the ‘Chairman of the Board.’ If there’s one man for the job it’s Ol’ Blue Eyes,” he said.
Mondello, who now resides in Brooklyn, did lose followers after posting a video of himself eating a cannoli inside the White House, after he was invited there last month for the Italian American Heritage Month Reception.
“I guess they interpreted it as I’m a Democrat,” he said.
“But I got invited, and none of you losers got invited to the White House.”
