Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kim Porter’s twin daughters, Jessie and D’Lila Combs, paid tribute to their late mother on the sixth anniversary of her death.
“We can’t believe it’s been 6 years without you,” the sisters wrote via their shared Instagram account on Friday, November 15. “We think about you every single second of the day.”
The post included a black and white snap of Jessie and D’Lila, both 17, as newborns being held by Porter. While one twin rested on Porter’s shoulder, the model held the other baby up and made a kissy face at her little one.
“We love and miss you so much words can’t even explain,” they continued. “We wish you were here with us but we know your spirit will be around forever!! We Love you Mommy❤️❤️.”
Porter and Diddy, 55, had an on-and-off relationship from 1994 to 2007. In addition to Jessie and D’Lila, the pair also shared son Christian, 26, who goes by the moniker King. The rapper adopted Porter’s son Quincy, 32, whom she welcomed with ex Al B. Sure!. (Diddy is also father to son Justin, 30, with ex Misa Hylton, daughter Chance, 18, with Sarah Chapman and daughter Love, 2, with Dana Tran.)

“For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare. But I haven’t,” Diddy wrote via Instagram at the time. “I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
Currently, Diddy is in prison awaiting trial. In September, he was arrested after being indicted on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. Diddy has pleaded not guilty and denied the allegations.
While Diddy’s request for bail has been turned down multiple times, his legal team recently proposed a $50 million bail package. A decision has yet to be made. Diddy’s trial is currently scheduled for May 2025.
Since his arrest, all of Diddy’s kids have remained by his side amid the music mogul’s legal woes. The family released a joint statement voicing their support for their dad following his arrest.
“The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media,” they shared in a joint October Instagram statement. “We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
