Denise Richards reportedly made a surprise return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills amid her divorce battle with her estranged husband, Aaron Phypers.
Denise filmed new RHOBH scenes with season 15 cast members Erika Jayne and Sutton Stracke at trendy eatery Madre in Los Angeles on Saturday, August 2, according to photos obtained by TMZ. There was no indication of whether Denise was reclaiming a diamond on a full-time basis or simply making a guest appearance, like she did in RHOBH season 13.
Us Weekly reached out to representatives for both Bravo and Denise for comment.
Denise’s latest filming for RHOBH came amid a tumultuous split from husband Aaron in July, after which she sought a temporary restraining order against him. Aaron adamantly denied all accusations made against him by his estranged wife.
The former Bond girl most recently starred in the eight-episode docuseries Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, which followed her bustling OnlyFans career and life with daughters Sami, 21, Lola, 20, and Eloise, 14. The series also unintentionally documented the final days of Denise and Aaron’s marriage.
Us confirmed in July that Denise Richards & Her Wild Things was only envisioned by Bravo as a limited series and thus would not be returning for a second season.
Meanwhile, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has undergone some huge changes since Denise last guest starred in season 13. (Denise was a full-time RHOBH cast member in seasons 9 and 10.)
Denise’s good friend Garcelle Beauvais announced in March that she was quitting the Bravo reality series after five years in the cast.
“Hey, guys, so I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” Garcelle announced via Instagram. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened, but it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
Us exclusively confirmed in June that fashion designer Rachel Zoe had joined The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for season 15. The news was announced more than a decade after her iconic Bravo series, The Rachel Zoe Project, came to an end in 2013.
“I am beyond excited to be returning home to Bravo to join the cast of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills!” Zoe told Us in a statement. “I’ve been living my best, new life and it felt like the perfect time to come back to TV and share it all with you. Here we go … RZ 2.0!”
Like Denise, Rachel is going through a breakup, as she announced in September 2024 that she’d split from husband Rodger Berman after 26 years of marriage. (Rachel and Rodger share sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 11.)
“After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage,” Zoe wrote in a statement via Instagram last September. “We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together.”
She went on, “Our number one priority has been and will always be our children. We are committed to coparent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share. We ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this new chapter.”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 will air on Bravo. Fans can watch old episodes anytime via Peacock.
