Cody Rhodes’ post-WrestleMania hiatus is over, and WWE wasted no time setting up his next match

Rhodes returned to WWE for the first time since losing the Undisputed WWE championship at WrestleMania 41 to save Jey Uso from an attack from new champion John Cena to close a newsworthy “Saturday Night’s Main Event” from Yuengling Center in Tampa, Fla. on Saturday night.

Cena, after defeating R-Truth earlier in the night, teased in a segment with Uso of helping Logan Paul win the World Heavyweight champion because his career ending with the other world title in the hands of a YouTuber would “ruin wrestling.”

Cena tried his best by pulling the ref out of the ring when Uso appeared to have the match won with a frog splash. Instead, Rhodes delivered a Cross Rhodes to Cena and allowed Uso to win with a spear to Paul — who missed a swing at the American Nightmare with his brass knuckles.
