The brother of former NFL player and Army hero Pat Tillman was arrested Sunday in California.

San Jose police booked Richard Tillman after he crashed his car into the San Jose post office, causing an overnight fire in the building, NBC Bay Area reported.

The crash occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday at the post office on Crown Boulevard in San Jose, police told the outlet.

No injuries were reported and the specific charges remained unclear, but Richard Tillman was being held without bail, according to the Santa Clara county jail website.

According to NBC, the suspect told officers at the scene that he was the brother of Pat Tillman, the San Jose native who gave up his NFL career as a safety with the Cardinals to serve as an Army Ranger in Afghanistan before being killed by friendly fire in 2004.

The suspect also said he live-streamed the crash on social media.

Richard famously hit back at the religious themes mentioned by others during his brother’s funeral service in 2004.

“He’s not with God. He’s f–king dead. He’s not religious,” Richard said then. “So thanks for your thoughts, but he’s f–king dead.”
