Don’t be surprised if you spot Brian Kelley striking a pose for his wife Brittney Kelley’s fashion line.
“I think I might have said during one of the last shoots, ‘I think my modeling career is probably over here after this one’ but I keep getting pulled into it,” Brian, 39, exclusively shared with Us Weekly while celebrating the release of Sunshine State of Mind Season Two, Chapter One. “I don’t mind it. It’s fun to help out. I love our brand. I love our clothes.”
When browsing Tribe Kelley’s website, shoppers can find a variety of clothing for both men and women.
In fact, some consumers may just spot Brian modeling in some of the clothes.
“I rock them all the time anyway so it’s easy for me to turn around and [have people] be like, ‘Hey BK, let’s get a pic,’” Brian shared. “It is funny to see us running ads on social and they pop up and I’m like, ‘Oh my God.’”
Founded in 2014, the family-owned brand is focused on American manufacturing, quality and comfort. Items are sold online and at the Tribe Kelley Surf Post in Grayton Beach, Florida.
Although both Brian and Brittney, 34, founded Tribe Kelley, the country singer is quick to praise his wife for taking the business beyond expectations.
“I couldn’t be more proud of Brittney. She runs the company, and she is killing it,” he said. “It’s really inspiring to work alongside her and to watch her just continue to grow, continue to stay true to herself, continue to stay true to our code and how we operate.”
Brian believes fans have fallen in love with the butter sweats. Since then, shoppers have continued to embrace new collections, like the recently launched Americana.
“It’s a mom-and-pop organization. We don’t have any outside investors,” he said. “It’s all because of the fans and our great customers who are loyal and understand our promise to have high-quality U.S. made pieces and the quality is unmatched.”
As the company prepares to celebrate 11 years in business this December, both Brian and Brittney are grateful to see an idea turn into something special for so many.
“I feel so lucky to work with incredible people in meaningful places … doing what I love,” Brittney wrote via Instagram on June 12. “ Thank YA’LL for TRIBING with us & grateful for 10+ years of being proudly made in the USA.”
