Kamiah Adams-Beal, the wife of Suns guard Bradley Beal, spoke out about an incident where a fan was ejected from a recent game for jeering her husband and leaving one of her kids in tears.

A fan crossed the line with their comments that emotionally affected her family during the Suns’ 119-109 home win over the Wizards on Saturday night.

“I usually ignore nonsense, as I like to leave the circus to the clowns, but let’s clear this up,” Adams-Beal said in a post on X. “Being a fan is fine. ‘Boo, you suck’ comes with sports. But disrespect is another thing. During the game, a ‘Suns fan’ spent the entire night heckling my husband. It got so bad I sent my kids away in the third quarter after multiple people asked if we were ok and asked if I wanted them to say something.”

However, the situation reached a “breaking point” in the fourth quarter and her children returned to their seats.

“The ‘fan’ yelled, ‘Trade this bum (expletives) for Jimmy Butler!’ My 6-year-old, with tears in his eyes, asked why someone would say that about his dad,” she explained about the heartbreaking scene. “So, at that point, security had to intervene, or I was going to. Athletes are human. They have families. Be a fan but keep it respectful. Because if we keep it real, most talking crazy behind a keyboard or not in someone’s face would be the first to ask for a picture outside. Hope this clears things up. Back to enjoying my day with my family.”

Video of the fan being escorted out had made its way to social media over the weekend, garnering over 105,000 views for the X account, @MrAzSports.

The video showed the fan being taken out of the building by an arena employee, and at one point, pausing to – what seemed like – get an explanation of what was going on.

The caption along with the video alleged that the fan was yelling “Jimmy Butler” and that was what caused him to get the boot, though other accounts chimed in that the fan had been saying much worse.

Beal has been linked to a possible trade for disgruntled Heat star Jimmy Butler, who is said to want to end up in Phoenix.

“My wife was pretty calm about it, but my son is right there. She’s not going for none of that,” Beal told reporters after the game. It doesn’t matter if it was her, if it was my brothers, if it was my mom, my dad, my best friend. It didn’t matter who it was, somebody was going to respond. I’m not even on social media, so I don’t even know what she said. She probably said some wild s–t I’m sure…

“I don’t even know what was being said. All I see is my wife and my son crying on the front row and my wife turning around yelling at somebody. That’s never good. Family comes before any of this basketball s–t. I just wanted to make sure she was good. Once the security was taking care of it, we’re good.”

Butler was suspended indefinitely by the Heat on Monday for “a continued pattern of disregard of team rules, engaging in conduct detrimental to the team and intentionally withholding services” after he walk out on shootaround following being told he would no longer start moving forward.
