Bears wide receiver DJ Moore left the Commanders’ stadium in Landover, Md., Monday night in an ambulance and was taken to a local hospital for precautionary reasons after the team’s 25-24 win.

The nature of Moore’s condition was not revealed, but the Bears said the 28-year-old was receiving “precautionary medical attention.”

Moore was “joking in the Bears’ locker room immediately after the game,” according to the Chicago Sun-Times, before later entering the ambulance.

The veteran receiver had three catches for 42 yards in the Bears’ win, which came on a 38-yard Jake Moody field goal as time expired.

The Bears took a 13-0 lead early in the second quarter after quarterback Caleb Williams ran for a one-yard touchdown.

Washington rebounded to grab 17-16 lead late in the third quarter on a 33-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Jayden Daniels to wide receiver Luke McCaffrey.

Another Daniels touchdown pass to tight end Zach Ertz early in the fourth put the Commanders up by eight, but the Bears quickly responded as Williams hit running back D’Andre Swift for a 55-yard touchdown pass.

That set the stage for Moody, who went 4-for-5 on field goals in his Bears debut after being cut by the 49ers earlier this season.

He had a 48-yard attempt blocked at the start of the fourth quarter that kept the Commanders ahead by one.

In five games this season, Moore has 19 catches for 215 yards and one touchdown, as Williams has leaned more on second-year receiver Rome Odunze.

Moore is in his third season with the Bears after being acquired from the Panthers in the trade that led Carolina to drafting Bryce Young first overall in 2023.

The Bears (3-2) have won three straight and host the Saints (1-5) on Sunday.
