‘Anti-capitalist’ New Year’s Eve LA terror plot suspects lived in upscale California suburbs

News RoomBy News RoomDecember 15, 20251 ViewsNo Comments

Wealth for me — but not for thee!

Despite their extremist anti-capitalist ideology, the suspects who were arrested for allegedly plotting a bombing campaign in and around Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve appear to hail from upscale areas.

One of the suspects, Tina Lai, 41, lives in a 4-bedroom home in the affluent Los Angeles suburb of Arcadia, according to records.

Arcadia has a median house price of almost $2 million, according to Realtor.com — which is 66% higher than the citywide median house price of $1,200,000.

The home appears to be owned by a relative, ostensibly her father.

Lai was listed as living in the 2,000-square-foot home about 13 miles from downtown Los Angeles as recently as this month.

She was one of the four suspects the feds nabbed last Friday for allegedly hatching a plot for a coordinated bombing campaign in the Los Angeles area.

The other three suspects were Audrey Ilene Carroll, 30; Zachary Aaron Page, 32; and Dante Gaffield, 24, all of whom were described as members of “Order of the Black Lotus,” a splinter group from the America-hating extremist Turtle Island Liberation Front (TILF) organization.

All of them have been charged with conspiracy and possession of an unregistered destructive device, according to officials. A fifth suspect was also apprehended in New Orleans for an alleged separate plot.

Page lived in a 3-bedroom home in Oak Park as recently as June, according to records. The peaceful, Southern California suburb in Ventura County — located about 40 miles west of LA — has a median home price of $920,000, according to Realtor.com. Records indicate he isn’t the owner.

The median house price in Ventura County is $922,000, Realtor.com data shows.

Alongside Carroll, he allegedly led the radical splinter group and helped set up its Signal chat, where they plotted what one document dubbed “OPERATION MIDNIGHT SUN,” according to officials who obtained the nefarious plans from a confidential FBI source.

During a meeting on Dec. 7, Page indicated it was “100,000[%]” likely that the FBI was on their tail and urged members to be cautious.

Carroll, meanwhile, lived in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in the heart of Los Angeles, according to records. It is unclear whether she still lives in the complex, which boasts an outdoor BBQ area and a rooftop, according to Realtor.com.

Two-bedroom apartments in the complex are currently being marketed for rents of more than $2,500 a month, according to Realtor.com.

Carroll is accused of purchasing 13 PVC pipes and two five-pound bags of “potassium nitrate on Amazon using a burner account” for the explosives, according to the feds.

Officials also claim that she and Page mused about future follow-up terrorism, such as attacks against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Gaffield, the youngest of the alleged terror crew, had no active residency listed in his file.

However, he once lived in a 3-bedroom home in the middle-class-to-wealthy LA neighborhood of Altadena with his family, according to records.

The median home price in the suburb is $720,500, according to Realtor.com.

TILF, the radical umbrella group linked to the Order of the Black Lotus, has railed against capitalism, America, law enforcement, and Israel.

The little-known extremist group has paraded around sick slogans such as “Death to America” and insisted that the United States’ mere existence is inherently violent.

“When we say ‘Death to America’ and call for an end to colonization, it doesn’t mean the displacement or harm of non indigenous citizens,” the radical group claimed in an October Facebook post.
