The Rangers selected defenseman EJ Emery with the No. 30 overall pick in the first round on Friday night. Here’s a look at the other picks they made Saturday on Day 2 of the 2024 NHL Draft:

Raoul Boilard

Drafted: Fourth round (119th overall)
Height: 6-foot-1 | Weight: 190 pounds

Country: Canada

Made his debut for the QMJHL last season, posting 22 goals and 40 assists in 68 games and eight points in 17 playoff games for the Baie-Comeau Drakkar.

Described himself as a defensive center with offensive tools who can make plays, be strong on the forecheck and in faceoffs.

Rangers moved up to select him, trading pick No. 127 on Saturday and their 2026 seventh-rounder to the Predators.

Nathan Aspinall

Drafted: Fifth round (159th overall)
Height: 6-foot-7 | Weight: 190 pounds
Position: Left wing | Shoots: Left
Born: 18
Country: Canada

Coming off his second season in the Ontario Hockey League, Aspinall set career highs in goals (18), assists (16), points (34) and games (65).

A bid-bodied forward who is said to have a strong net-front presence and playmaking ability.

Plays for the Flint Firebirds, the same team that Brennan Othmann played for from 2019-2023.

Rico Gredig

Drafted: Sixth round (191st overall)
Height: 6-foot-1 | Weight: 179 pounds
Position: Left wing/center | Shoots: Left
Age: 19
Country: Switzerland

Competing in the Swiss Elite Junior League with Davos U20 the past two seasons, Gredig has combined for 13 goals and 21 assists in 42 games and is slated to return for the 2024-25 season.

He recorded one assist in five games for Switzerland in the 2024 World Junior U-20 Championships.

Making his National League debut last season, Gredig chipped in two goals, two assists and six penalty minutes in 28 games.
