Sky Daily, the wife of Hulk Hogan, has broken her silence after the late wrestler’s funeral on
Tuesday, August 5.
“Yesterday’s celebration of life was one of the most beautiful and moving days I have ever experienced,” she captioned a Wednesday, August 6, post via Instagram, alongside the tribute video that played at the Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida during the service. “In the same church where we were married and baptized together, we gathered with family, friends, and loved ones to honor a life that touched millions.”
An estimated 800 to 1,000 people attended the funeral, a source told Us Weekly, as Daily, 46, sat front and center in the same row as Hogan’s first wife, Linda Hogan. His son, Nick Hogan, and Nick’s wife sat between them as the family mourned as one, with no awkwardness or drama, the insider says.
Hogan was married to Linda, 65, from 1983 to 2009. He married Daily in 2023, two years after his divorce from second wife Jennifer McDaniel.
“The church was filled with stories… some that brought tears, others that made us laugh through those tears,” she continued, “And with every memory shared, you could feel the love that surrounded him.”
Hogan, whose real name was Terry Bollea, died on July 24 at age 71 after suffering cardiac arrest at his Clearwater, Florida, home. His family plans to have him cremated.
“Terry chose cremation knowing this physical life is temporary and his heavenly body eternal,” Daily wrote. “He has not yet been cremated, as our family is making sure every question about his medical care is answered first. Once we have that peace of mind, we will honor his wish and fulfill it with love and respect.”
The tribute video featured Hogan discussing his faith in an interview with Joe Rogan in which he talked about his time at the church, something he said he looked forward to each week. Daily said that the video reflected his “unwavering Christian faith — a faith that anchored him and brought him peace every day.”
She closed her post with a warning to fans not to be fooled by AI accounts or people spreading rumors about Hogan’s life and death.
“There are heartbreakingly misleading media stories created by faceless AI accounts or by people not close enough to truly know what was happening,” she said. “Please be patient and know this: he was deeply loved, well cared for, and surrounded by that love until his very last moment.”
