Yellowstone star Josh Lucas is a happily married man after tying the knot with fiancée Brianna Ruffalo inside Vatican City.
“Mr. and Mrs.,” Ruffalo, 34, wrote via Instagram on Friday, July 18. “Incredibly blessed to receive this sacrament together inside the heart of the Catholic Church and Holy City.”
Lucas, 54, replied to her post, writing, “I love you! Easily one of the greatest days of my life. I am so so grateful.”
Lucas and Ruffalo exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony in the papal city in Italy. He looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo, while his bride stunned in a strapless lace gown.
In a follow-up post shared via his Instagram, Lucas gushed that their nuptials were a “dream.”
“A huge thank you to deeply talented @caterinaerrani_photography and to @weddings_italy @paolo_nassi @JinaneKafrouny who helped make the dream of wedding in the #vatican come true,” Lucas wrote on Saturday, July 19. “Many many people to thank for this to come.”
The Sweet Home Alabama and Ruffalo, a TV meteorologist, have been together since 2022, and they got engaged in June 2024.
“For the last 2 years in Every Way and Every Day this beautiful soul has made me and my life better, deeper, and more whole,” Lucas wrote via Instagram at the time. “I am so grateful and thrilled she said ‘Yes.’ I WAY love you, Brianna. Thank you to our families and all the people and places that made this come true. I am absolutely aware I got crazy lucky.”
Ruffalo, at the time, noted in her own social media tribute that saying “yes” was “the easiest and best question” she had ever answered.
“Almost 2 years ago this fall, and with no expectations, Josh walked into my life and we knew almost immediately we had each found our person in a way we’ve never experienced — on every level,” Ruffalo wrote via Instagram last June. “This was the easiest and best question I’ve ever answered. So, here’s to forever with my love, my best friend ❤️.”
Lucas was previously married to Jessica Clencin Henriquez from 2012 to 2014, during which they welcomed son Noah.
“I try to play with my son as much as I can,” Lucas told Slant Magazine in 2015 of their coparenting dynamic. “That’s partly because my father got into the grind of providing for his kids, and he was tired. I don’t know that I succeed as much as I can, but it’s my favorite thing in the world to play with my son.”
